Turning your HTPC on
- Make sure your display is on and switched to VGA or HDMI input (take a look at the display cable from the HTPC if you are unsure).
- Make sure your Home Theatre PC is switched on. If your display is set to the correct input but you get no display, check the connections, power it off and then back on again.
Using the software
You should at least have a remote control which is specifically for navigating through menus and media. This is called the media remote. Your HTPC may also come with a wireless keyboard, which is useful for when you want to search, input text, or use the HTPC for regular PC duties such as web browsing.
When your HTPC starts it should automatically open Kodi.
